Dear Beloved Parishioners,

Affectionate and loving greeting to all the parents, brothers, sisters, and children. In the quiet rhythm of our faith journey, let us turn our hearts to four divine pillars: prayer, love, forgiveness, and development. These are not mere words, but lifelines from God’s own heart, drawing us closer to Him and one another. As we gather in His name and walk together for the growth of each parishioner and the Parish as a whole, may these truths touch each one’s soul deeply.

1. The Whisper of Prayer: – Prayer is the gentle bridge between our fragile hearts and God’s boundless mercy. Imagine a child running into a father’s arms— that’s us, laying our burdens at Jesus’ feet. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches us to pray without ceasing (Luke 18:1), turning ordinary moments into sacred encounters. Today, let prayer be your first breath each morning; it heals what words alone cannot.

2. The Fire of Love: –Love is God’s signature on our lives, a flame that warms the coldest corners of the world. “Love one another as I have loved you,” Jesus commands (John 13:34), not with fleeting feelings, but selfless sacrifice. Picture the prodigal son’s father, arms

wide open- that’s divine love mirrored in us. Let it flow through your homes, workplaces, and parish, binding us as one family in Christ.

3. The Freedom of Forgiveness: –Forgiveness is the key that unlocks chains we didn’t know we carried. When Peter asked how many times to forgive, Jesus replied “seventy-seven times” (Matthew 18:22), teaching us to release as we have been released. Think of the woman caught in adultery, spared by mercy (John 8:1-11)— her story is ours. Forgive boldly today; in letting go, you reclaim joy and invite God’s peace.

4. The Journey of Development: –True development blooms from spiritual soil, growing us into the image of Christ. It’s not just progress in wealth or status, but in holiness—tending our souls like a garden under the sun of grace. As St. Paul urges, “grow in every way into Him” (Ephesians 4:15). Nurture your faith through service, study, and sacraments; watch God multiply your efforts for His kingdom.

My dear parents, brothers, sisters and children these pillars stand together, each strengthening the other. Prayer fuels love, love enables forgiveness, forgiveness paves the way for development, and development draws us back to prayer. Let us live them out, hand in hand, as a parish united in God’s embrace.

RECTOR & PARISH PRIEST , CHRIST THE KING CHURCH, HESAG

Greetings & Whishes…
Today’s world needs to impact and exchange information not only to the few masses but on a large scale to a wide range of people all over the world. I am delighted and happy to see that Christ the King Church, Hesag, Ranchi is inaugurating our own Parish website so that the people across the globe are aware of everything happening in our parish. Pope Francis said that the internet, emails, text messages, and social networking sites are a gift from God and can be considered as forms of communication between human beings. The parish and the Core Team of this website will surely strive hard to keep you informed and updated on all the happenings in our Parish. This will open up broader horizons for many people, and I firmly believe that this mode of communication is a gift from God, which involves a great responsibility.

Social networking sites can facilitate relationships and promote the good of society. i would personally appeal to all Parishioners to promote and help in building more closeness and spread the good news of Jesus through this website. Let us all free to express and share all that is true, good, and beautiful. I am really grateful to Youth for taking the sole initiative in opening this website. I am also grateful and appreciate the core team all the people for putting in efforts to contribute towards building our Church website. I assure my priestly blessings upon every one of you for your dedication and hard work. Through the love and good news of Jesus across the world.

On behalf of all the youth of our parish, I express our sincere commitment to walk together with the Church, support its mission, and be witnesses of Christ in our daily lives. We thank our priests, animators, and elders for their constant guidance and encouragement.
